Step-by-step technique for Tate Press, an exercise for triceps using dumbbells. From the Frog Fitness exercise library.

How to do it

  1. Lie on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand over your chest.
  2. Lower the dumbbells in toward your chest by flaring your elbows out.
  3. Extend back up to straight arms.
  4. Squeeze your triceps at the top.
Coach tip: Keep your upper arms fairly still.
