90/90 Rest Position
Step-by-step technique for 90/90 Rest Position, an exercise for lower back using bodyweight. From the Frog Fitness exercise library.
How to do it
- Lie on your back on the floor with your lower legs resting on a bench or box, so both hips and knees are bent at 90 degrees.
- Let your lower back sink toward the floor. Arms relaxed at your sides or on your stomach.
- Breathe calmly in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
- Stay in the position for 2 to 5 minutes.
Coach tip: Works just as well at home in the evening if your back feels stiff.
