How to do it

  1. Lie on your back on the floor with your lower legs resting on a bench or box, so both hips and knees are bent at 90 degrees.
  2. Let your lower back sink toward the floor. Arms relaxed at your sides or on your stomach.
  3. Breathe calmly in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
  4. Stay in the position for 2 to 5 minutes.
Coach tip: Works just as well at home in the evening if your back feels stiff.
